Back to the Bitcoin roots with Bitcoin SV

The "SV" behind Bitcoin SV stands for "Satoshi Vision". What it means is that Bitcoin SV implements the original rules that the inventor of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, established when Bitcoin was launched in 2009. Nakamoto limited the block size to 1 MB at the beginning of Bitcoin to protect the network from congestion and to prevent transactions from being manipulated and the network from being compromised. However, as Bitcoin's popularity grew, limiting the block size to 1 MB proved to be an obstacle. Only 7 transactions can be processed per second in the Bitcoin block chain. This limitation led to a preference for transactions with the highest possible transaction fee. For smaller amounts, the transaction fee often exceeds the transfer amount, which makes small amounts in Bitcoin virtually worthless. To change this, Bitcoin Cash was first separated from Bitcoin. Subsequently, the block size was increased to 8 MB to allow more transactions and thus force falling transaction fees. The users who had forced this hard fork from Bitcoin subsequently disagreed about the basic orientation of Bitcoin Cash - which was considered to be true Bitcoin. As a result, Bitcoin Cash split and Bitcoin SV was created. But not many people share Nakamoto's vision. Currently, the Bitcoin SV network consists of around 360 nodes. Mining at Bitcoin SV also happens to a much lesser extent than at other Bitcoin networks.
