1. Scope of Application: The Gift Card is a debit card purchased in a MediaMarkt store or via the webshop. In the case of an online purchase where the Gift Card is sent to the Customer's chosen address, the Customer must click an activation link to activate the Gift Card. In the case of an online purchase of a printable Gift Card, this will be sent by email in PDF format and the Gift Card is valid after approximately 15 minutes. The Gift Card is only redeemable at a MediaMarkt store or on the webshop. The Gift Card can be used by the Customer for purchases of goods or services at MediaMarkt within the framework of the current General Terms and Conditions for Gift Cards. These Terms aim to precisely regulate the relationship between Customers and MediaMarkt. The Gift Card has no value until activated at the checkout or after activation by the Customer via the activation link for an online purchase. It is only after activation of the individual Gift Card that it can be used. The printable Gift Card in PDF format is active or valid after approximately 15 minutes.
2. Terms: The Gift Card is valid in all participating MediaMarkt stores and on the webshop. The Gift Card is valid for up to five years after activation. The Gift Card is transferable to third parties. For an online purchase of a Gift Card, the Customer can add their name, first name, and a text to the Gift Card. MediaMarkt is not responsible for its content and reserves the right to refuse texts that violate legislation. The amount stated on the Gift Card is in euros. The amount on the Gift Card can be used in full or in part for a purchase. The Gift Card, as well as any remaining balance, can under no circumstances be refunded, neither in cash nor in the form of a voucher. The Gift Card can only be used for purchases at MediaMarkt stores or on the webshop. MediaMarkt disclaims all responsibility and cannot be held liable for losses or damages that Customers may have suffered as a result of theft or loss of the Gift Card before or after activation. In case of loss or theft, the Gift Card will not be replaced or refunded by MediaMarkt. MediaMarkt reserves the right not to replace or refund any damaged card. The amount on the Gift Card will not accrue interest. MediaMarkt reserves the right to amend the General Terms and Conditions for Gift Cards at any time. The current terms supplement the General Terms and Conditions of Sale. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale also apply to the Gift Cards. The right of withdrawal for an online purchase of a Gift Card is excluded, both for unactivated and already activated Gift Cards by the Customer, as these can be personalised according to the Customer's specifications, including the amount, a name, and a text, and this is a debit card. The Gift Card is only valid in MediaMarkt stores in België.
3. Applicable Law and Competent Court: By issuing or activating a Gift Card, the Customer accepts the General Terms and Conditions. In case of invalidity or unenforceability of one of the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions, this will not affect the other clauses and provisions. These remain fully in force. Only Belgian law shall apply to the rights, obligations, and offers relating to these General Terms and Conditions, as well as to the General Terms and Conditions themselves. The Courts of Brussels shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising between parties therefrom.

TERMS OF SERVICE: You can check the value of MediaMarkt gift cards at any branch in Germany. The gift card can be topped up in any store for your desired amount, but the available balance must not exceed the limit of €1,000. When presenting the card at any MediaMarkt shop in Germany, you will receive your updated balance, which will also be displayed on the website. Note: You will not be able to redeem the coupon after the expiry date.
